Interior Designer's Vision Blossoms Into Bathroom Beauty

"Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?" In my version of Snow White, the framed mirror replies ... "why me of course!" That's because it had been handcrafted by skilled artisans, using classic techniques, gold gilded and with a custom color.

If you're an interior designer, chances are you've reached that point of a project where you need that last piece to bring everything together. The furniture you've selected, with its custom fabrics and finishes has been installed, however, something is missing. There's nothing on the walls. You know what you want but can't find that right size, shape or, color, framed mirror or artwork.

Designers often contact us with this dilemma. In the images below, you can see an example of one designer's vision blossoming into a beauty. They knew the size of the space they needed to fill, and the shape and color they wanted to incorporate into the frame.

Initial sketches below were provided to the designer to show the vision for the framed mirror.

The designer had already selected, a Lee Jofa wallpaper, La via Loca: Clementine, a design by Lilly Pulitzer of Via Mizner in Palm Beach, and the paint, a Benjamin Moore custom color, which was incorporated into the framed mirror.

A second custom mirror below was designed to incorporate the curves of the Saber Leg Ottoman from Jerry Pair the designer had selected. The solid wood and finish of the frame was coordinated to pair with the ottoman.
